The USS MISSISSIPPI Alumni Association is an all volunteer organization led by a 7 member Board of Directors with a focus on organizing a fun reunion during odd years. We welcome input through the contact page.
Our Story
We started in the early 2000s with the purpose of organizing reunions at fun cities across our great country. We just completed a great extended weekend in Pensacola FL from 9/16/25 - 9/21/25 with approximately 75 people enjoying each other's company.
The group is currently sailors, spouses, and friends from CGN-40 which deployed from 1978 to 1997. We hope to expand our group to include all ships of the MISSISSIPPI name particularly SSN-782 currently in commission since 2012.
Dues are only $25/yr which are used to purchase refreshments in our hospitality room at the reunion as well as administrative costs and deposits.
